As a result of hosting the Beacon Conference last spring, it was realized that SUNY Orange does not provide an opportunity for its students to showcase their projects and papers or an opportunity for the college community to be exposed to the outstanding work of its many talented students. There are interested faculty and staff willing to help organize such an event which would serve as a chance for students to build their resumes and be more marketable when seeking employment and/or transferring to another academic institution.
