| Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale | The tallest A-frame ladders and the only extension ladder in the theater are quite old and in disrepair, making for unsafe working conditions. They are also made of wood, making them heavy and cumbersome to move.
There is also the matter of efficiency. In order to do any rigging or lighting work, the only fast and safe option is a Genie Arial Working Platform, especially for any job requiring a technician to be in the air for a long period of time (e.g. special show-specific projects or troubleshooting lighting equipment). |
