This teaching learning model would assist with the technique development on a non human subject. It will be used to meet the requirements set forth by our Accrediting body.

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

This expensive equipment would offer the department the equipment that will be used as a teaching tool as well as a tool to meet the requirements set forth by our accrediting body for completion.

This would also align our institution with our sister institutions and provide equitable outcomes for our students.

DH Standard: Clinical schedules demonstrating equitable and sufficient radiology unit assignments 4-2 4-3 Radiography facilities must be sufficient for student practice and the development of clinical competence. The radiography facilities must contain the following: a) an appropriate number of radiography exposure rooms which include: equipment for acquiring radiographic images; teaching manikin(s); and conveniently located areas for hand hygiene; b) equipment for processing radiographic images; c) equipment allowing display of radiographic images;
