Initiative TitlePropose and implement A.A. Degree program in Communication/New Media
Submitted in Previous Year(s)2009 - 20010
Critical Information, Notes, Justification, RationalePropose and implement A.A. degree program in Communication/New Media. Most other community colleges in the state have a Communication transfer degree program. This is an area of interest for many of our students and has been requested by students for many years. New Media is a cutting edge program area which is offered at only a handful of schools and which is transferrable to many four year institutions.
Consequences of this initiative not being fundedLoss of potential students interested in a Communication/New Media degree program.
