Continue to improve faculty outreach and professional development by working with the Office of Accessibility Services. OAS strives to support students with disabilities holistically through relationship building, coaching, appropriate accommodation, and intentional referrals with individual departments to strengthen collaborative partners. Also, work closely with the Center for Teaching and Learning for Professional Development. 

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

The funding is needed for staff development as well as marketing and creation of information brochures. If not supported, these are the potential consequences:

We may not be able to properly inform and train the College community to ensure quality service and delivery of reasonable and appropriate academic adjustments guaranteed under the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act of 2008.
