Initiative Title | Purchase 2 Sharp Aquos Boards for each of 2 labs |
Submitted in Previous Year(s) | No |
Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale | The MLT/ Phlebotomy labs are in need for computer upgrades for faculty use in teaching. Currently, we have 3 lap tops that are used for student power point presentations in the labs. These laptops are very old and are not functioning properly. Instead of purchasing 3 new laptops to replace the existing old ones, we are requesting 2 Aquos boards for each of the labs and 1 replacement lap top for the microbiology lab. These are much needed resources for instructor use in the classroom. |
Consequences of this initiative not being funded | Faculty will not be able to provide lecture material to students using antiquated equipment. This state of the art equipment has been purchased for various departments on campus. The Clinical Lab Science department is still in the dark ages in regards to technology. This is a much needed and necessary resource for our instructors |
