Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	Software that will allow the grants office to find funding opportunities, move through the application process, and track applications status. This will allow us to identify more funding opportunities and search by specific needs/type of funding. With this software we will be able to identify opportunities that we would not easily be able to find otherwise. The software will allow to apply and ultimately be awarded diverse funding opportunities. Software that searches federal state and local funding opportunities is about $10k/year. We currently rely on funding opportunities that are sent to us by word of mouth or by listservs that someone on the college is a part of. This software would allow us to find specific funding sources that we need easier than the needle in a haystack method currently in place.

MIDDLESTATES STANDARDS 6 Planning, Resources, and Institutional Improvement	Some new funding opportunities can support new equipment desperately needed by departments that the operating budget may not be able to support to allow the operating budget to support other initiatives if grant funding becomes available. Redesigning space, covering some portion of a position's salary/benefits, or expanding programs with waitlists.
