Initiative TitleRenovate current Electron Microscopy Suite for use as a smart classroom / office space
Submitted in Previous Year(s)No
Critical Information, Notes, Justification, RationaleCurrently, this space is being used over the summer months to support the Mosquito Surveillance Project. The electron microscope and equipment is antiquated and to bring back the EM course would require major expenditure. This space can be renovated to provide a smart classroom which can be used by Laboratory Technology for a seminar course for MLT,for the Phlebotomy course and to offer continuing education to the community. Since the space borders on the Diagnostic Imaging lab, the space can be renovated and shared with this department.
