Prioritization Notes

Level 2 (Business Math Science and Technology, AVP Office)

BT 255 is the primary lab for Cybersecurity courses and is the Consortium Interactive Video classroom. Network technologies must be current so as to prepare students in the major for employment.

Level 4 (PBIE Committee)

Cyber lab at BT 255 is now 3 years old. This lab is essential to both the Networking and Cyber Security programs offered by SUNY Orange. The equipment in the lab needs to be updated now to minimize the impact on teaching current technology in these fields. Both fields are advancing very rapidly and current equipment becomes obsolete in less than three years. Updating equipment and the related software in this lab will help our college to provide quality and competitive programs to students enrolled in these fields.
