Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	The mathematics department has 15 full time faculty members, over 40 adjuncts and offers over 100 courses on the Middletown campus and over 28 courses on the Newburgh campus. We have CCHS programs in 9 local high schools. We run a very active Mathematics Resource Rooms both in Middletown and Newburgh and we are in charge of one computer lab (HA 309). In order to service students and faculty adequately the department chair needs an assistant.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	With the gerowth of the department we will not be able to service students and faculty adequately without an assistant chair.
