Initiative Title | Summer Youth architecture experience |
Submitted in Previous Year(s) | No |
Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale | In the summer of 2016 we offered three one week long summer youth camps for architecture. One was cancelled, but the two that ran were a great success. Feedback from the students and their parents was very positive. Three students plan to attend our college to study architecture.
We would like to continue to offering summer "Architectural Design Workshops" for local high school juniors and seniors. |
Consequences of this initiative not being funded | We would not be able to offer the summer camps and would miss-out on the opportunity to make these students and their parents aware of the great programs our college has to offer.
