Currently the time entry via time sheets involves extra commuting for employees and administrators in order to complete the payroll in a timely fashion. In addition, paper waste from record keeping is costly, ecologically unfriendly, and space-consuming. The initiative to support time entry via the web not only increases the efficiency of payroll and employees, but also aligns with our campus green goals. Less paper waste and the ability to process the time sheets in a more widely accessible and multi-campus venue will save cost and time for all involved.
