Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale

Since the pandemic his us in March 2020 we have been challenged with Level 2 Field-sites that are able to take our students to complete a requirement of the program. Our Academic Fieldwork Coordinator has been resourceful and working on alternate sites. We have 27 students that will be ready to go to level 2 Field clinical and only 6 sites have replied that they can currently take our students. We are working with others and are hopeful this will change as we move into spring.

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

We will continue to have students get a grade of incomplete if we can not get more field site placements, this backlogs the ability to find places and also puts stress on those places that can and do take students. I do know this is temporary, however it is an initiative that we will continue to work on.
