Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	There are several organizations that faculty members were members of to provide outreach and collect information important to the Business Department and the articulation of students or the employability of students. This was cut from our budgets (NYSSCPA - Accounting; BEAM - all degrees; HVVH - all degrees). SUNY Orange Business students also receive scholarships from NYSSCPA and BEAM.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	The Business Department will not have a connection with area organizations for changes to the Business field that could impact degree programs. These organizations also help to provide a connection for potential adjuncts. Student scholarships are provided to our students by NYSSCPA & BEAM.
Department Goals	To provide funding and support for memberships in organizations that are important for degree programs., To support, maintain, and grow all outreach activitites including; articulations, CCHS, Business Clubs, Tax Assistance Program, student scholarships, and collaborative learning spaces for students.
