Currently, once the final payment on a payment plan is due, late fees must be added manually to the accounts of students who have not paid as agreed. This process is time-consuming and introduces the potential for errors at a critical point in the term, when students are preparing to register for the next semester and need accurate, up-to-date account information.

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

The current manual process creates delays, preventing students from receiving timely account updates and consuming valuable staff time.
