Right now bank reconciliations are done manually. This causes the end user to not see if a check is cleared within the Banner ERP, or run reports needed to complete the NYS Abandoned Property Report, or easily find the physical cleared check that is needed for the auditors. 

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

Both end users and business office employees will continue to waste a lot of time on manual processes.
