Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	The department needs to continue to increase the number of full-time faculty in order to meet program objectives and learning outcomes. An additional Full-time faculty member will be required as part of the expansion plan for the Newburgh Campus.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	Program quality will be adversely affected since it is difficult to maintain program consistency when relying on employees with only a one semester commitment to the college. The faculty agree unanimously that without an additional full-time faculty member, a position of Coordinator of Adjuncts needs to be established. This position would be a current full-time faculty member with a redefined load. Additionally the increase in part-time faculty in relationship to full-time faculty, adds undue burden on the full-time faculty in terms of student advising and for maintenance of accreditation status.
