Level 3 (Academic Affairs and Student Services, Provost, VP Office)

This is dependent on a grant from the Gerry Foundation. Initiative would creat new programs and realign with Vis Comm program.

Level 4 (PBIE Committee)

This is an area of interest for many of our students and has been requested as a major for many years. New Media is a cutting edge program area which is offered at only a handful of schools and which is transferrable to many four-year institutions. Most other community colleges in the state have a Communication transfer degree program, but only a few offer a degree in New Media. Efforts will be made to establish articulation agreements with four-year institutions to help our students transfer. Due to the high cost of this program, a Gerry Fund grant has been applied for to assist with the cost of replacing our current studio with one that combines and creates new digital media (audio, video & web) all together.
