Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	The walls of the courts are made of a special composit which has not been re-furbrished for a long time if ever and the wooden floors are in poor condition- court 3 had a leak and it is unplayable.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	Continued deterioration and perhaps more will become unplayable. Floor condition is very bad- users could become injured. Current class size requires use of that court.

The walls of the courts are made of a special composite which has not been re-furbished for a long time, if ever, and the wooden floors are in poor condition- court 3 had a leak and it is currently unplayable. If this initiative is not funded, there will be continued deterioration and perhaps more courts will become unplayable. Current floor conditions are very bad: users could become injured. Though currently no classed are scheduled at court 3, the continuing increasing class size requires the use of that court in the near future. Closing of court(s) also affects the recreational activities of students, faculties and staffs, as well as the ability to provide recreational facilities to the Orange County community at large. Funding this initiative helps to support physical education programs, and to benefit our SUNY Orange community and the society.
