Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	3 Channel electrocardiogram for use in Anatomy & Physiology II. 4 Spectrophotometers for use in Generall Biology II and General Botany laboratories Electrocardiogram is needed to support our lab exercise in cardiac function. Current instrumentation is simply no longer functional. (This equipment might also be used by Nursing and Laboratory Technology Departments). Spectrophotometers will permit students in the above courses to obtain experimental data from laboratory experiments involving enzyme assay, nucleic acid extraction/hybridzation protocols.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	Less opportunity for students to participate in hands-on data-gathering activity in the laboratory.
