Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	There are many types of student holds than can be placed on a student's account by various departments campus wide, which are placed and removed manually. Student holds that are no longer warranted and still on the student account can cause frustration for the student and a barrier to registration. For this reason it would be beneficial to have a removal of this hold automated to occur periodically throughout a day. This will remove a barrier to registration, reduce students frustrations, and eliminate timely manual process of removing holds. Ideally it would be nice to have this operational Spring of 2023.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	The removal of barrier for students will cause less frustration, increase enrollment.
