Initiative Title | Work with the Ramapo Catskill Library System and the Child Care Council of Orange County to offer/co-sponsor events on campus. |
Submitted in Previous Year(s) | No |
Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale | Prior to the pandemic, the department enjoyed many years of collaboration with our local area partners. This engagement provided an opportunity for the community to view our campus and resources, and a way for our current students to become involved in professional development. |
Consequences of this initiative not being funded | This initiative requires minimal funding, but the department would like to provide attendees with a light snack, and would like to provide a token of appreciation to presenters/hosts. |
Department Goals | Increase levels of community engagement through hosting education related events. |
