The Office of Admissions major priority at SUNY Orange is to market to, enroll and inform the general public about SUNY Orange and our available degree & certificate programs. We work closely with constituents at SUNY Orange included Academic Affairs and our Student Services Division to help our students understand the importance of a SUNY Orange education.


During the 2020-2021 academic year, we will look to enhance our interactions with students along with our office operations through the use of technology. Implementation of this technology would primarily focus on how we communicate with incoming students and work with Student Services Departments to ensure all of our communication is in sync.  As a focal point, we will concentrate our initiatives within the following guide-lines in the strategic plan:

These priorities will continue to be a major influence as to how we will assist the institution in in meeting our enrollment numbers. Below is a list of goals we would to achieve this year:

  • Purchase and implement Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)
  • Utilize text messaging for targeted communication 
  • Implement Group Visitation Program 
  • Continue to build Student Admission Ambassador Program
  • Enhance our students acceptance packet for New & Transfer students
  • Hire admissions recruiter to assist with community and high school events
  • Add additional technology to enhance admissions presentation with the community
