The Biology Department provides essential support for students planning careers in a wide variety of fields ranging from medicine, education,environmental biology as well as in support of Health Profession students seeking to follow one of our SUNY Orange AAS Pathways.  We hope to provide quality laboratory instruction as well as additional support via our Biology Center where students have access to models ,microscopic slides similar to those studied in labs.  Here, students can also access assistance and tutoring .  

Department Goals

Specific things the department wishes to achieve or accomplish this academic year.

1 To equip Intro to Biology ( Bio 110 ) Lab with Replacement Microscopes
2 To equip the Biology Center (RCSE 306) with appropriate models for hands on student access and learning
3 To equip various course laboratories with models to expedite hands on student learning
