The mission of the SUNY Orange Custodial and Grounds Department is to manage the campus cleaning and  grounds for both Middletown and Newburgh Campuses to ensure that the College's buildings and grounds are  maintained, cleaned, and in proper condition for safe and efficient operation. 

Department Goals

Specific things the department wishes to achieve or accomplish this academic year.

1 To increase the grounds workforce by 1 FTE.
2 To purchase a Toro Field Pro 6040 Infield Groomer machine.
3 To purchase a turf vacuum for leaves and debris, model Toro Versa-Vac 07053
