The Newburgh Campus provides education access to one of the fastest-growing and diverse sectors of Orange County.  This location provides an opportunity for SUNY Orange to contribute to the revitalization and development of the immediate community as well the eastern sector of Orange County.

As a branch campus, we have to ensure that the activities, programming, and educational opportunities offered on the campus is aligned with that status.  As a unit that does not have direct control over the decision-making that impacts the campus, collaboration and advocacy is central to all the work that must be accomplished.  To that end, we will focus on supporting Title V activities and the staff, faculty and student experience on the Newburgh campus.  Expanding SUNY Orange's presence and involvement within the Newburgh community following great strides in the previous academic year will also be a focus of this academic year.
