The mission of Student Services Central (SSC) is to provide current and prospective students with one centralized office to access enrollment services for the college. Our primary responsibilities are conducting the student facing services and dispensing guidance and information on behalf of the offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar and Student Accounts. SSC also provides support for many other departments and programs including Academic Advising, Bridges, CAPE, CCHS, OAS, the Wellness Center, as well as Academic Departments.

Student Services Central was initially designed to offer mainly in-person services to students. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic we shifted all of our services to a remote format, and during the AY21-22 we transitions to offering both in-person and remote services simultaneously.  We will closely analyze students use of and preference for service formats in AY21-22 and use that data to enhance and improve our services for AY22-23.

In order for SSC to successfully accomplish our mission, it is critical that we closely collaborate and communicate with the departments that we work with including across divisions. Our primary focus has been and will continue to be to provide students with clear, accurate, timely information in a friendly and professional manner, and to makes the student's enrollment experience as smooth and positive as possible.
