Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	Current classroom furniture is old and much of it is unsuited for the physical needs of our current students. In addition, more modular seating options will add to varying pedagogical approaches in instruction.
Consequences of this initiative not being funded	The learning environment will continue to be negatively affected by students' physical discomfort, inefficient use of space, and the inability to adapt classroom configurations to suit a variety of activities and pedagogical approaches.

103, 105 and 109 are small classrooms that will likely be devoted to sections of ENG 098. More modern collaborative classroom furniture may be beneficial to those classes. Since all five rooms are in a row, aesthetically, it makes sense to outfit all five rooms consistently.
