Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale	Register Blast is a scheduling software specifically designed to be used by Testing Centers. It allows for automatic rescheduling and cancellation of appointments, which we do currently as a manual process using Qualtrics. It sends automatic confirmation emails to students about their appointments. It will also send text reminders to students to remind them of upcoming test appointments. Currently, the Admissions Office calls students to remind them of appointments, so this would free up manpower for other resources. We currently use Qualtrics as the software to allow students to sign up for tests. Qualtrics is designed for survey administration, not for this purpose, so there are many work-arounds that I have to do to make it work. Qualtrics allows students to sign up multiple times for one test time, thereby taking spots away from other eligible students. Any rescheduling or canceled appointments have to be removed from the test rosters manually, which is a time consuming process.

STUDENT SERVICES MASTER PLAN 2013 Technology Explore, introduce and utilize technology designed to improve operations, enhance communication, streamline service, and increase productivity and efficiency.	This technology is specifically designed for testing and will help streamline the students' experience when signing up for a test.
ACADEMIC MASTER PLAN 2016-2020 The Student Experience Objective #1: Improve communication among faculty, staff, and students.	Register Blast sends confirmation emails and reminder texts to students regarding their testing appointments. This will help make sure the student knows what they have signed up for and when.
ACADEMIC MASTER PLAN 2016-2020 The Student Experience Objective #3: Enhance academic support and services by effectively utilizing equipment, facilities, personnel, and technology to meet our students’ needs.	This technology is specifically designed for testing and will help streamline the students' experience when signing up for a test.
