There are several organizations that faculty members were members of to provide outreach and collect information important to the Business Department and the articulation of students or the employability of students.  This was cut from our budgets (NYSSCPA - Accounting; BEAM - all degrees; HVVH - all degrees). Business students also receive scholarships from NY

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

The Business Department will not have a connection with area organizations on changes to the Business field that could impact degree programs.  Student scholarships.

Department GoalsProvide quality assurance through student learning outcomes, advisory board feedback, graduate student feedback and current student feedback, leading to success in our AS degrees transferability and our AAS degrees employability, and ACBSP accreditation., To support, maintain, and grow all outreach activitites including; articulations, CCHS, Business Clubs, Tax Assistance Program, student scholarships, and open computer lab time for students., To promote the degree programs of the Business Department (Community), especially the new degree program for AS Healthcare Administration.
