To replace/update Smart Board technology in Harriman Hall Second Floor Classrooms

Initiative TitleTo replace/update Smart Board technology in Harriman Hall Second Floor Classrooms
Submitted in Previous Year(s)2021
Critical Information, Notes, Justification, Rationale

Replace/upgrade the Smart Board Technology/computers in Harriman Hall Second Floor classrooms HA 201, HA 200, HA 203, HA 207, HA 211A, HA 211B. The computers and technology in these classrooms are aging and need to be replaced or upgraded to allow for interactive technology that has been integrated in most business classes. One of them are at a critical point in replacement - HA 207!

Consequences of this initiative not being funded

Incorporation of technology and Publisher and LMS shell integration into the classroom teaching will not be possible.  Some classrooms are already having difficulty just displaying power points developed for lectures. This needs to be able to allow an instructor to be more interactive with both in persona and remote students. HA 207 is now at a smaller resolution for a large classroom space and will regularly shift off-kilter.
