Academic Support consists of two campus locations: the Middletown Tutorial Center and the Newburgh Learning Center.  The 2020-2021 plan herein will be comprised of goals and initiatives for both campuses.

The Middletown Tutorial Center and Newburgh Learning Centers are dedicated to supporting all SUNY Orange students in achieving optimal learning in every course, to attain their academic goals, and to become confident, independent lifelong learners.  Both centers strive to contribute to SUNY Orange's role in providing accessible, welcoming, holistic, and nonjudgmental support for each individual's independence and success.

This upcoming academic year, we will continue the goals from the previous year: 1) The assessment of current services in terms of accessibility and eliminating barriers for the student entry into support services; 2) The expansion of current services to address student needs holistically.  Building on the enhancements that have taken place under the 2018-2019 plan, we also will work to expand the technological access and functionality within each center to standardize online learning support alongside on-campus learning support.
