Through a variety of recruitment initiatives and ongoing assessments to services provided to students, the Office of Admission has been able to enhance recruitment programming to school counselors, prospective students and the general community. More recently, we have focused our attention to the non-traditional student by creating a non-traditional web site and recruitment plan with the help from a grant funded non-traditional recruiting position. We have also enhanced our honors recruitment by creating an honors call campaign, created a pilot GPA review process for Fall 2014 health profession applicants to make the process more transparent and improved Open House and Incoming Students Day programming to emphasize accessibility and student engagement. The Admissions Office 2014-2015 goals and priorities have been informed by the College’s Strategic Plan, the Academic Master Plan, and the Student Services Master Plan.
