Arts & Communication Departmental Mission statement:  The Arts and Communication Department of Orange County Community College offers academic courses and programs that help prepare students for transfer to four-year colleges and for careers in art, communication, music, and theater.  We provide ongoing service and enrichment to the College and community by presenting a wide variety of cultural events and opportunities. 

Resources continue to be comparatively scarce.  Nevertheless, our needs in Arts and Communication remain more or less consistent.  We are gratified that we continue to realize our mission.  Because we were unable to achieve some of our 2018-2019 goals, we have rolled several over into our 2019-2020 plans.  We are also very aware and supportive of the broader, college-wide endeavors to support our students via SOEX, gateway courses, guided pathways, etc.
