We would love to see IDS taken more seriously as it offers opportunities that many seem to either not understand or ignore.  IDS could provide a vehicle to expand our diversity, equity and access with degrees, programming and opportunities for students and faculty.

Department Goals

Specific things the department wishes to achieve or accomplish this academic year.

1 Provide annual funding for students & faculty to participate in conferences and other experiential learning and community-building opportunities
2 Explore and expand course offerings as appropriate
3 Increase enrollment and retention in IDS and HUM courses
4 Make connections to other areas and groups, both on and off campus
5 Continue to conduct meaningful assessment
6 Explore external and internal opportunities for student and faculty development
