Accessibility for students and librarians in the library will fully take effect in April of 2026 and this initiative is to achieve the highest level of accessibility in the library. The electronic resources in the library are made available through vendor websites and often downloaded as PDF documents. All aspects of search, navigation of the website and reading downloaded material need to be accessible and librarians and library staff will need to help students, faculty and staff. Physical access to books and periodicals for those visually impaired requires enlarging equipment. This proposal includes training for librarians and library staff as well as necessary equipment.
