The Physical Therapist Assistant Program has received final approval from both SUNY and the College's Curriculum Committee for changes as related to the SUNY Seamless Transfer Initiative.  A.Y. 2017-2018 will be the initial year for those changes and thus will require review. In addition to curricular changes, the Department remains vested in the pursuit of progressive assessment activities, obtain funding and purchase of equipment to maintain accreditation and industry standards, promote the development and use of the Blackboard Learning Management System, establish connections to adjacent universities in the form of articulation agreements and provide educational opportunities to the surrounding therapeutic community.
