Student Services is dedicated to attracting, enrolling and sustaining a diverse student population. Through an array of exemplary programs and services we provide the assistance, connection, guidance and support that enables students to successfully achieve their academic and personal goals.

Working collaboratively with colleagues in Academic Affairs, Administration and Finance, and Institutional Advancement, departments within Student Services are focused on advancing the Strategic Priorities of the College and supporting the themes of the Academic Master Plan.

 

Department Goals

Specific things the department wishes to achieve or accomplish this academic year.

1 Institutionalize all components of the Title III Project: enrollment; online/in-person New START; First Year Support team advising; enhanced degree/career planning
2 Review enrollment policies and procedures (and communication of same) with an eye towards streamlining and simplifying administrative tasks for both students and student-facing staff.
3 Improve collection of tuition and fees (joint goal with Business Office)
4 Initiate/support enrollment, retention and completion activities
5 Ensure that Student Services staffing at both campus locations best meets student needs
6 Bring TRiO and EOP programs to scale
7 Develop a new Student Services Master Plan
