Student Accounts Department Mission is to support and advise students in understanding their financial obligations to SUNY Orange by employing patience and effective communication. Our office strives to provide exemplary customer service, comprehensively helping students in a timely manner, and keeping student interests in the forefront of our decision making. We deliver complex College processes in simple, accessible means, and promote student financial responsibility in support of student success.
Our department s responsible for the billing and collection of tuition, fees, and other charges for students in all college programs. In support of this function our office issues billing statements for students, receives payments, manages the payment plan option offered to students and their families, and follows up on balances due. We disburse financial aid to students’ accounts when available and issue refunds to students who have credit balances on their accounts. We determine residency status for tuition billing, facilitate, and prepare the annual federal tax form 1098-T for students, along with a variety of other student account related matters.
