The mission plan of Student Services Central is to provide current and prospective students with one centralized area to access enrollment services for the college. Our objective is to be the first point of contact for those seeking guidance with respect to Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Accounts. We also provide support for and general information about many other departments and programs including Academic Advising, Bridges, CAPE, CCHS, OAS, the Wellness Center, as well as Academic Departments.

SSC plays a strong role in onboarding and works hand and hand with Admissions and Academic Advising to support these efforts. We provide students with guidance throughout the admissions process, and participate in the New Start Workshops where our Enrollment Specialist meet one-on-one with each student. Our plan of focus it to provide each student with the individualized support that they need to have an optimal enrollment experience and to be set up to succeed in their academic goals. We strive to remove any barriers that students encounter and educate students on how to utilize and navigate the colleges resources.

In order for SSC to achieve our goals and planned objectives, it is critical that we continuously communicate and collaborate with the other departments. We strive to provide accurate and consistent information and messaging to students, and also to do so in an efficient, friendly, customer service focused manner. Training is provided for the SSC team on a regular basis to ensure ensure that they have the information and tools needed to carryout these goals. Additionally, satisfaction surveys are administered to students after every visit and that data is utilized to address areas of concern and make improvements to our services.
