Arts & Communication Departmental Mission statement:  The Arts and Communication Department of Orange County Community College offers academic courses and programs that help prepare students for transfer to four-year colleges and for careers in art, communication, music, and theater.  We provide ongoing service and enrichment to the College and community by presenting a wide variety of cultural events and opportunities.

Given the College's current enrollment crisis and the resulting scarcity of resources, we are fortunate and appreciative of the administration's continued support of our department in the fulfillment of our mission.  We were able to achieve some of our 2019-2020 goals (replacement of stage floor via the efforts of our theater technical director, Peter Galipeau, TV Studio equipment replacement, and laptop computers for the ticketing system).  Those goals we were not able to achieve, we are rolling over into our 2020-2021 plans.
