  • Continue to use technology and data driven tools to streamline our services to effectively and efficiently serve students while they pursue their academic goals.
  • To continue to expand the utilization of the Titanium Schedule EMR software to increase the efficiency of required recordkeeping, decrease use of paper by using digital technology and to streamline mandated immunization and Health Professions documentation requirements.
  • Continue to secure funding via grants.
  • Continue to build on the existing collaborations with faculty and seek to start new ones.
  • Continue to implement Narcan training in collaboration with the County Department of Health.
  • Rebuild our Wellness Center Team given the resignation of our mental health liaison in January 2018 and the resignation of one of our nurses in fall 2018.
  • Continue to expand collaborations with college partners and community agencies to increase the number of programs offered to the entire college community with emphasis on healthy lifestyles, college success, disease prevention, access to healthcare, stress and anxiety reduction, sexual violence prevention, suicide prevention education and mental health counseling.
  • Increase the campus community's awareness of the mandates regarding sexual violence prevention and encourage the campus community's participation in meeting those new mandates

1 Continue to maximize the use of an EMR to manage and maintain the documentation of mental health and health services provided to students, faculty and staff.
2 Institute a way to supervise and evaluate the nurses' clinical practice and their medical documentation.
3 Continue to develop community and College partnerships to help enhance the Wellness Center’s educational programs and services.
4 Continue to utilize student survey data to inform decision-making regarding event planning, content and advertising for the SUNY Orange Wellness Center
5 Continue to assist the College in meeting new federal and SUNY mandates regarding sexual violence prevention.
6 Increase students' utilization of short-term mental health counseling offered by our center.
