We will continue to provide strong academic, cultural and social enrichment to students and faculty in the Honors Program. We will seek the resources (personnel, monetary, facilities and other infrastructure) necessary to achieve the mission of the program.  

Department Goals

Specific things the department wishes to achieve or accomplish this academic year.

# Department Goal
1 Conduct a programmatic assessment to determine the "right size" for the program (this is in parallel with #2)
2 Re-instate full-time clerical support in Middletown (this and the first goal are equal)
3 Work on infrastructure and personnel plan, including a faculty person in Newburgh and perhaps a part-time clerical person there as well
4 Improve student retention within courses, from semester to semester, and from year to year.
5 Work on articulation agreements to meet NCHC's "Basic Characteristics" criterion
